Dreams really do come true!  On March 23, 2016 I was honored and recognized for Women’s History Month! Words can’t express how happy, honored, humble and inspired I am for having this experience.  Photographer, Monica Marrow honored her Beauty of the Month Recipients.  I was Beauty of the Month for January 2016 and I sat on a panel of the most beautiful women in the world.  The best part was that we were all beautiful in so many different ways.  Our personal contributions to the world is what made this panel of women stunning!  And little ole me, was apart of this!  Super Blessed! It didn’t matter how different we all looked we were all passionate about uplifting and inspiring other women.  This was a night to remember!  God is Amazing!  I would like to thank the Creator of beauty of the Month, Monica Marrow, for selecting me. She is not only a photographer but an explorer, on a hunt to find the hidden treasure called BEAUTY! Please log on to www.whatmakesyoufeelbeautiful.org

Tip for Brides –  Your make-up on your wedding day should be classic and you should look like an enhanced, fresh version of yourself.  This is not the day to experiment with a new look.  The goal is to look at your wedding album 10 years from now and still love your look on that day. Mega Tip- A bridal make-up trial is a must!

Make-up is my ART! SEE my ART!

Look: Spring Night! Colors: Lilac and Black
Tip: A neutral color can be brought to life by adding a crease color. This Lilac is soft and neutral, when the black crease color and eyeliner is added, it makes the lilac look more vibrant. It also makes the entire eye look less flat, and more dimensional. POW!

Dreams really do come true and I am living my dream.  Love my life! I have never worked so hard in my life, but I promise you,  I wouldn’t have it any other way!  I am grateful! Thank you LORD! I am up early, I go to bed late and even when I am in bed, under the covers, my mind continues work. To completely exit work mode I have to think about my second favorite place…. the beach!  “The” 1st favorite place right now is “The Shawna Elizabeth, Make-up Studio!  I have noticed the number one service that has been taking over my studio is “Brows”. People are now seeing the value of having great shaped brows, asking how to maintain them and recommendations on brow fillers.  I love doing brows!  Besides being a Make-up Artist, I truly consider myself a Brow & Lash Architect! Tip- full brows are in!  I will be hosting a Spring Trend Masterclass soon, I will post the date soon.  Gotta go back to grinding! Everyday I’m hustlin (in my Rick Ross voice) #shawnaelizabeth #makeupstudio #dreamsreallydocometrue #livingmydream #browarchitect #lasharchitect #hustlin #grinding

SEE Tip of the Week! Why Contour and Highlight?  Contour and highlight can enhance the natural dimensions of the face. When we use foundation ( or tinted moisturizer), we even out our complexion. During this process of creating this flawless canvas we lose dimension or create a flatter face.  If you think about it, our face is not only one color, people are usually slightly darker around the forehead, under the eyes, etc.  So when we highlight and contour we are reshaping the face and we have the option to do a natural enhancement or changing the shape of  face completely.  Which will it be?
